Photo Resizer

The Photo Resizer utility is a program designed to resize your digital photos for use in emails, on a web site or as desktop wallpaper on your computer. The Photo Resizer will create copies of your photos and resize all of the copies in any folder you specifiy.

Digital cameras these days can take some very nice photos with 5, 6 and even 7 mega pixels. These are great for printed photos but the file size is much too large for emails and web site photos. Resizing photos is possible in most applications provided by the camera makers but requires you to resize one at a time. What Photo Resizer does is resize all of the photos is a folder, not just one photo at a time. Photo Resizer will also maintain the aspect ratio of photos that horizontal and vertical photos will be resized according to the orientation of the photo.

Features

  • Resize all photos in a directory (jpg, gif, png)
  • Standard sizes for thumbnails, emails, wallpaper
  • Maintains photo aspect ratio, regardless of orientation
  • Customizable via a configuration file (will be part of the program soon)
